Update: A.L. East
There is a tight race in the A.L. East as the season moves on. The race is mainly between the Yankees and Red Sox.The Red Sox have a 58-36 record, first in the A.L.,and 1.5 games ahead of New York. The Yankees have a 56-37 record, second in the A.L.,and 6.5 games ahead of Tampa Bay.The Rays have a 50-44 record,5th in the A.L.,and 4.0 games ahead of Toronto. The Blue Jays are 47-49,tied for 8th in the league, and 7.5 games ahead of Baltimore. The Orioles have a 38-55 record 13th in the league. There will be a close race but I think Boston will slightly edge New York for the division title, but the Yankees will win the wild card easily.
