Sabathia vs. Peavy

C.C. Sabathia (15-5 2.56 ERA ) is looking to help the Yankees to their fourth straight win. He is opposing Jake Peavy (4-4 5.27 ERA). A pair of rain delays may have cost Sabathia a perfect game Tuesday. He struck out a career-high 14, including seven in a row at one point in pitching his seventh straight quality start. He is 6-1 with a 0.82 ERA during this stretch, striking out 72. With Edwin Jackson now in St. Louis, the White Sox need Peavy to not only stay healthy, but return to form. He’s 0-3 with a 6.67 ERA over his last five starts.
