Burnett vs. Floyd

A.J. Burnett (8-9 4.23 ERA) is getting the start for the Yankees in the third game of their 7 game road trip. He is facing  Gavin Floyd (9-9 3.96 ERA) who is making his first start against the Yankees in the second half. Friday was Burnett in a nutshell. He struck out a season-high 10 in eight innings but gave up four runs to the Orioles in losing to the worst team in the AL. The Yankees have not scored more than five runs in any of his starts since June 8. Floyd has dominated in three second-half starts so far, picking up wins against the Indians, Tigers and Red Sox while allowing just two earned runs in 22 1/3 innings.

I think Gavin Floyd will win, because of his consistency against the Yankees this year.
