Yankees first week

The Yankees’ first week was a tough one. They were outscored 18-12 in their first 3 games, before winning their first game of the season, 6-2 against the Orioles with Iv an Nova getting the well-deserved win after going 7 innings with 7 strikeouts with only 2 earned runs allowed. Other than that game, where the Yanks scored 6 runs,  their bats fell pretty cold against the Tampa Bay Rays, only scoring 12 runs in 3 games. Their pitching was bad too. The pitching staff gave up 18 home runs and a blown save in 3 games. The top 3 starters in the rotation all lost or didn’t have a decision (thanks to Mo).

I think the Yankees will need to pick up their bats and pitching arms to rightfully win the AL East.
