Game #2

In our second game of the season we played Schuman Dental, who came in as 0-1. They had Hadar Wolf, who was considered one of the best pitchers in the league.

Unlike the last time I wrote a post, I don’t have at the moment play-by-play or the box score. Here is the link if you want to see a little play-by-play and the game  . Also, if you want to check the scores of the league, the schedule, or the standings of the Efrat league, go to this link and check by the 11-14 year olds section

We won 6-5. We (Eyeworld) got the first 3 runs of the game in the bottom of the 3rd. They tied in up with 3 runs in the 4th and 5th. Then we scored 3 runs that we needed in the 5th. It looked look they might win after getting 2 runs on bases loaded walks. There was 1 out and I was pitching. One of their lefty hitters, who was ok, hit on the second pitch, which bounced softly to me. I reached out, got the ball, and flipped it home to my twin, the catcher. He fired the ball to first base and the first baseman caught it. The game was over. At the time, I thought we would hit because the game was tied. Suddenly, everyone was cheering and celebrating.

What an exciting game that must have been; the Moore twin trio are quite formidable!! So impressed. Any photos?
