Game #4

Game 4 we played BBJ Linen, with a 3-0 record. They had Jesse Zeit, who had a stunning no-hitter on Opening day of the season. We were coming in at 2-1, after a recent loss to Sass Video.

We hit first but didn’t score any runs in the 1st inning. BBJ scored 2 quick runs off of my pitching, but I soon settled down to strike out the side. The next half-inning we got the 7 run limit off Yair Waxman, their 2nd starter. He walked a few and Noam Moore, my brother hit a bases-clearing triple. Jesse Zeit soon was brought in and left us scoreless until we scored a run on a long homer by Tzvi Haber. At that point we were winning 8-4. Noam Moore was brought in relief he let up a double and hit a batter, while the runner on second stole third base. I came back in to pitch. I promptly let their hitter ground a slow tapper to catcher for a sacrifice ground-out for one out as the runner scored. The next batter singled to score a run and then I closed out the game with 2 straight strikeouts.
